From Apprentice to Advocate
Before spending 14 years in workforce development leadership, I was an apprentice myself. This experience changed the trajectory of my life and instilled within me a deep belief in registered apprenticeships and non-traditional career pathways. My passion for this model led me to my former role as the Assistant Director of I.T. Apprenticeships for the School District of Philadelphia, where I had the privilege of helping hundreds of Philadelphians launch their careers in technology.
But I knew that I could expand my overall impact even further. That’s why I founded The Apprenticeship Lady Consulting, drawing from my combined lived experience as an apprentice and a workforce professional, to increase access to these opportunities across a diverse range of occupations and communities. I bring a proven track record of securing approvals for both registered pre-apprenticeships and apprenticeship models. My primary focus is helping non-traditional sectors step outside of the standard mold to build innovative, effective programs designed for underrepresented talent to break into thriving careers and build long-term wealth.
